Still pregnant…
Well, here I am, 5 days past my due date and still pregnant. I have another non-stress test Tuesday and a doctor appointment Wednesday. If I haven’t gone into labor by Wednesday, I think I’m going to ask for an induction. Hopefully, they can schedule it Thursday. And then from there, I’ll hope that by the end of Thursday I’ll have the baby. I’d really like to have the baby before lunch Thursday. That would be really nice. I could be out of the hospital probably Saturday to enjoy a long weekend with my husband & 2 kids. That’s going to take some getting used to saying. We’ll keep everyone updated as to when the baby joins us.

Menu Plan Monday – May 14
Still pregnant. Still waiting. I’m due on the 16th. *sigh* I haven’t had a chance to plan our meals yet and I won’t be able to go to the store till Thursday, unless I’m otherwise occupied.

Menu Plan Monday – May 7
Still pregnant. Still waiting. We’re kind of doing stuff on the fly since this baby could come any day now.
Monday: waffles
Tuesday: spaghetti
Wednesday: Panera. We have a doctor’s appointment and want to walk around the mall to get this baby moving.
Thursday: sandwiches
Friday: grilled salmon, rice medley
Saturday: grilled BBQ chicken, corn on the cob, baked beans
Sunday: Fuddruckers (lunch), french toast (dinner)
So far, so good.
We went to the doctor today. He said the baby’s head is down and I’m dilated to 1cm. I’m actually having contractions periodically now, which is a good thing. I never had contractions with Matthew before I actually went into labor. They’re just helping to move the baby down…maybe I’ll actually make my due date.
On a happy note, it seems that one of my sisters will be moving down closer to me. She’s gotten a job in Ann Arbor, but will be living much closer to our home. Yes! Free babysitting at last!!!!
